LED Light Force Therapy for Pain Relief

LED Light Therapy as Rotator Cuff Injury Treatment

I have rotator cuff injuries in both shoulders. This is a situation that can get quite painful and interfere with activities of daily living and even with sleeping.

About a month ago, I experienced quite a bit of intense pain. Neither aspirin, heat, nor ice helped. Since I don't have health insurance or health coverage of any kind, it is up to me to find ways to deal with any medical need I might have. Surgery is out of the question.

I saw an ad in one of the catalogs I receive for an Infrared LED Light Therapy device for pain relief. The reviews were favorable, and the company that puts out the catalog is reliable, so I decided to order the unit (at $60) and give it a try.

LED Light Therapy for Pain is Comforting and Effective!

My LED Deep Penetrating Light Therapy Unit is a Winner!

When I received my LED unit, I tried it immediately. The instructions said to choose the level of pain relief needed and set the dial for RELAXATION, IMPROVE CIRCULATION, DULL ACHE,PERSISTENT PAIN or .

I selected PERSISTENT PAIN and applied the unit directly to my shoulders for 15 minutes each as directed. I have to say that I felt some immediate relief.

Even though the infrared LED light therapy product is described as delivering "deep heat' to muscles and tendons, the unit does not get hot to the touch. It really just barely feels warm, yet it is very effective.

Complete Pain Relief in Just a Couple of Days!

That night, I repeated the LED treatment before going to bed. I set the unit beside my bed so I could use it during the night as needed. For the first couple of days, I used it several times each night when awakened by pain.

After a couple of days, my pain was gone. I still feel pain if I apply excessive stress to my shoulders by lifting or reaching too much, but for activities of daily living, and for sleeping, I now have no pain.

I use my LED light treatment unit once each evening for 15 minutes on each shoulder before going to bed. It is easy to do this while I am reading. The unit has a long cord that makes this very convenient.

The information accompanying the LED Light Therapy unit says that it is effective for treating arthritis pain, and I would not be surprised if it was not very effective for that. I think it might also be very good for treating menstrual cramps.

The unit I got came from Light Force Therapy via a catalog company called AmeriMark. I think this must have been one of their first and simplest models. They don't seem to offer it on their website anymore. The units they do offer are quite a bit more expensive than the one I got from AmeriMark.

I have located several light relief/infrared pain relief models at Amazon that are very similar in construction and cost to the one I have. Some cost quite a bit less.

The LFT 9000 is very similar to the LED unit I ordered and is made by the Light Force Therapy company.

LED Light Therapy is a Great Alternative to Drugs or Surgery!

I really cannot recommend LED light therapy for pain highly enough. I was really concerned that the pain in my shoulders would disable me, but after my LED unit for a very short time, I am completely free of pain.

This simple, inexpensive, pleasant treatment is certainly preferable to being strung along on pain killers or simply suffering. While I understand that rotator cuff surgery is supposed to be some kind of miracle, as I said, it is not an option for me and perhaps this effective, non-invasive treatment is even better!

Thanks for reading! :)

Wow, this sounds promising! Will send the information to a friend who has neck pain for years, to the point of it becoming a disability... perhaps it can also be used for the neck?

Yes, it can be used for any pain. I think there is a flexible pad type that would probably be good for necks!

It sounds interesting. I do not have any great pain now but I have become allergic to aspirin and related products. The pain killers if I do need them arre getting limited.

Good that you found a really effective treatment for your pains. I have been hearing about this light therapy but I have not really given it a serious thought or reading. Thanks for sharing this, now I am wondering if I should also avail of that Led unit too.

I haven't tried this LED Light Therapy, but it sounds interesting. Thank you for sharing your experience.

In my case, I use the Advanced ThermiPaq Therapeutic Hot & Cold Pad whenever I have back, shoulder or any body pain. This is good for soothing pain relief. Just heat the pad in the microwave for approximate 3 to 4 minutes, and then use it as a hot compress. I also find it very effective.

Enjoy your week!

Thanks for your comments. I would definitely recommend this for any pain because it seems to have healing qualities, not just soothing qualities.

My mother was the original inventor of the LFT9000 over 20 years ago. We have also added sound therapy and 'proprietary protocols' that enhance the body and mind even more effectively and efficiently. If you have any questions or would like to know more, please call us.

Thank you, Kevin. I tried to find a website for you, but all my searches came up with a "spoof" site.
